Data Collection & Purpose
We collect only what is strictly necessary to complete your legal and administrative requests. Every data point has a verified purpose.- Personal Identity: Name, email, phone, mailing and billing address.
- Official Records: Passports, IDs, fingerprint cards, and vital records provided for processing.
- Technical Logic: IP address and device information used exclusively for security audit trails.
- Financial: Secure payment processing via encrypted third-party gateways.
Mailing Lists & Third-Party Disclosure
We maintain a strict stance on the privacy of our communication channels and client data:- No Commercial Mailing Lists: We do not create or maintain marketing mailing lists for ExpatMoney clients or any other client groups.
- Strict Data Isolation: We do not sell, provide, or lease your email address or personal data to third parties for marketing or any other commercial purposes.
- Operational Necessity: Data is shared with partners and third parties only when it is required to provide them with the information necessary to complete their specific step in your document process (e.g., government agencies, couriers, or identity verification providers).
The Security Model
Your information is handled within a closed-loop system designed to minimize exposure:- End-to-End Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
- Controlled Access: Restricted to vetted, authorized personnel only.
- Hardware Security: Local workstations are encrypted at the hardware level.
- Verified Distribution: Documents are never sent via unsecured channels; delivery is managed via 2FA-protected encrypted links.
Retention & Purge Protocols
We do not maintain “permanent” records unless legally mandated. We operate on a strict purge schedule:- Remote Online Notarization (RON): 10 years (Legal mandate).
- Standard Services: Completely purged after 1 year.
- Biometric Data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of use.
Sharing & International Use
Information is shared exclusively with necessary partners: payment processors, identity verification providers, government agencies (FBI/State Dept), and secure carriers (FedEx/DHL). We do not sell or rent client data.Bottom line: Your information is handled with the same discipline we apply to the documents themselves—controlled, secured, and removed when it is no longer needed.
